Planning Board
The Planning Board is a seven member body responsible for administering the Massachusetts sub-division control laws, for municipal planning, for special permits, and for guiding growth and development in Chesterfield to meet the Town's changing needs. Through the Board's work, the Town has adopted an Accessory Apartment Bylaw, revised Sub-Division Regulations, and amended the Schedule of Uses to be more friendly to small businesses.
The Planning Board meets the 1st Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m., with additional meetings scheduled as needed.
Note: Effective July 1, 2019, the fee to apply for a Special Permit under the Zoning Bylaws has increased to $300.
